Katharina Reimann, Alto, studied with Prof. Ingeborg Danz and currently persues her vocal studies at the Hochschule für Musik Saar (Konzertexamen). In April 2023 she gave her debut in the title role of Trimalchio in the opera production Satyricon by Bruno Maderna, a coproduction with the Saarländisches Staatstheater. There she has also been engaged in various other roles, like in Puccini’s Suor Angelica as Seconda Cercatrice or in Stephen Sonheim’s Sweeney Todd. Conducted by the artistic director of the Munich Symphonic Orchestra, Joseph Bastian, and in collaboration with the Landesjugendorchester Saar she performed the role of the witch in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel in autumn 2023.
Beside her opera activities, Katharina is an active performer in concert as well and reached the final round of Bundeswettbewerb Gesang Berlin (concert) in 2024.
