Bavarian Baritone Tobias Haufler pursued studies in vocal pedagogy (BA) at the LMZ University Augsburg with Daniela Denschlag and then a Master Voice (concert) at Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg (Prof. Elisabeth Kovacs). He has performed standard pieces of the concert repertoire like Christmas Oratorios by Bach and Saint-Saëns, Brahms Requiem, Haydn’s Jahreszeiten or Handel’s Messiah. On the field of opera he performed Bannoit/Alcindoro (La Bohème), Baculus (Wildschütz), Leopold (Im weißen Rössl). He is passionate about Lied and dedicated his Master recital to life and work of Hanns Eisler. He also persues a career in choir singing (Choir of the Bregenz Festival, Munich Philharmonic Choir) and joined the Gutenberg Soloists Mainz for the world premier recording of Telemann’s French Cantata Cycle.
