Beàta Vymlátilová is a coloratura soprano from Kroměříž and currently studying singing in the department of historic performance practice at the Janáček-Academy of musical arts in Brno with Mgr. Irena Troupová. Before that she finished her studies at Olomouc conservatory and her studies in art history (BA) at Palacký-University in Olomouc.

She won prizes in various vocal competitions and sang e.g. Violetta Valéry in Verdi’s Traviata (1st act) in a concert performance. She has worked with the Orchestre Czech Virtuosi, and just recently recorded and performed as soloist in Bach’s cantata Weichet nur, betrübte Schatten BWV 202.

She attended masterclasses with Kateřina Kněžíková, Dagmar Šašková, Andreas Scholl, Maestro Antonio Carangelo, Jiřina and Zuzana Marková, Franz Hawlata, Maestro Paolo de Napoli and Daniela Fally.

Beside her singing she plays the piano and the harpsichord.
