Thomaskantors amongst themselves
… well, not quite. Our participants will be performing in our opening concert, too, guided by a real successor of the great Johann Sebastian!
It is an honour for us that he joins our team in 2025. Gotthold Schwarz, baritone, conductor and former Thomaskantor in Leipzig, brings his expertise and enormous experience with the music of the Bach family to Mainz and will be working with and conducting our young talents.
