Lieselotte Fink
is the 2022 Heinz Frankenbach Award Winner

On May 8th, 2022 the young mezzosoprano won the 3rd edition of the Heinz Frankenbach Award. In the concert hall of the Hotel Frankenbach she performed a programme with the titel “Affetti Musicali” and convinced the jury – among them as external jurors Daniela Spering (Orfeo Artists Management), Gerd Türk (tenor, former professor for baroque singing at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis) and Michael Herrmann (director of the Rheingau Musik Festival). Ms. Fink won 1000,- € in combination with a solo baroque recital in the Hotel Frankenbach.

The audience voting was also in favour of her, the coinciding voucher for music (200,-€) being granted by Schott Music Mainz.

Finalist Emilie Jønsson was awarded the promotion prize of the Internationale Musiktage Wörrstädter Land, who invite her as a soloist for a concert with Vivaldi’s Gloria in D and Magnificat.

Finalists Paula Müller and Emilie Jønsson were given a scholarship for the 2022 season of Baroque Vocal Academy next August.
